Good Intentions

I had really wanted to blog more regularly but somehow life got in the way (I love that phrase!). Life's been going at full speed recently with some ups and downs.

On the baby front, there's been a few baby firsts' like Baby's First Trip Out (other than to the doctor's), Baby's First Haircut, Baby's First Pair of Shoes and so on.

Personally, I am still juggling working full-time, house, baby and husband care. Have been travelling back and forth between my home and my mum's so that she can spend quality time with her one and only grandchild.

Am seriously thinking of doing part-time work, mainly to spend more time with baby and to manage the household. I don't think going full housewife mode would work for me, coz I could really feel the lack of adult interaction during the 3 mths of maternity leave. So I guess part-time work is for me. Am also looking at a joint business venture with 3 of my friends. Very very early stages yet so will see how that pans out.

Have managed to do some reading and cooking (mainly on wkends). Have not gone to watch any movies this year. This would probably change when the summer blockbusters come out in the next 2 mths. It may be very late but am now fascinated with old Amitabh Bachan movies so went out to Mustafa's and bought a bunch - Don, Laawaris, Namak Halaal & Sholay. I am ashamed to admit but yes I have not watched Sholay - to the amazement of my hubby. Bought Om Shanti Om on DVD but hve not gotten around to watching it yet. Am looking forward to Hritik & Ash's Jodha Akhbar to be released. (More abt the movies soon!)

I was in the mood of collecting Bollywood DVDs too last month. Spent lots of money buying collector's DVD from http://www.yashrajfilms.com Bought a few more from Mustaffa and the shop at Jade (can't remember the name). Bought OSO, DDLJ, KANK, KHNH, KKHH (see if you can figure out all the abbreviations!), Fanaa, Aaja Nachle, The Hero, Dil, Mann, Raja Hindustani, Pardes, tara Rum Pum ... and many more! Might go another round to buy the classics. Oh don't worry, I have not watch Sholay too! Poor us. I'm eagerly waiting for Taare Zameen Par DVD. Love Aamir Khan!

Hmm...let's Om Shanti Om, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Kal Ho Na Ho, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai..did I get them rite? :)
Taare Zameen Par is LOVELY! A wonderful and well-crafted story. The child actor and of course Aamir was brilliant...
